Trading was very light today; most investors are taking things slow, while the chief impetus for the dive seems to be oil prices.

Wasn't it years ago that it first hit 10,000 points? Do you remember all the fuss and hooplah about how it would soon hit 20,000?

Okay, I know that the War on Terror broke out in the interim but still...I'm starting to think that the DOW has pretty much reached its peak.

I know the Dow is supposed to be reflective of the business world, but I don't take it as THE WORD. You know? There's a limited selection of companies used to make the Dow, which is certainly not representative of ALL companies.
