When I first started reading it I thought it was going to end saying her Daddy was fighting for our freedom. Really blew me away when she said her Daddy was a fireman. I already had an ending in mind when I first read it. Which is why it tore me up two fold southerngale.

oh my, that was really a tearjerker! I was ok til the Towers portion. Sad, but true. We will always remember those that lost their lives in 9-11 as heroes that would not succomb to the b@$!#*d's that hijacked the planes. Although many heroes fought in the planes, hundreds of other heroes were on the ground assisting in the rescue of individuals working in the towers. It didn't matter if they were firefighters, police officers, paramedics, or just people off the streets...they were all there for one reason...and that was to get everyone out safely.
