Labor Day Plans

What's everyone gonna do this weekend for the holiday (besides watching Frances, of course)?

I'm gonna go see the annual fireworks display along the Ohio River tomorrow night. Monday I will be downtown on 12 News at 7:45am, but there's nothing else planned yet.

Still tomorrow should be nice!

I'm prepared to get maybe 3 hours sleep Sunday night.

Ran cross country in my first meet today, and have practice Monday, school resumes Tuesday.

I'm headin to a good ol labor day dance. One of the smaller towns around here puts on probably the biggest labor day dance in the NW part of Iowa. It better be fun!! Time to get some girls :lol:

I have to do my homework... no time on Tuesday to get it done. I have my first day of my internship at NBC 26 on Monday.

WELL.....if things keep going the way they are, I'll be on a SEARCH! We've been on 3 in just the past 5 DAYS! I swear, with cell phones and GPS Units so readily available and inexpensive, there's NO EXCUSE for people getting LOST. Take for instance last night, at 2139 hrs, we get a call, 3 guys with a dog took a hike around 1200 hrs, the family FINALLY decides to call the authorities at 2130, now WHY in HADES didn't they call EARLIER?

SORRY for going off topic here, I haven't been to bed yet.....I'm halucinating (sp) "LOL!"

Some off time moving gravel in our landscaping project, but otherwise an eye and ear on Frances, a brief cookout with friends, before heading into work later this afternoon and again tomorrow at 6 am. I work most holiday weekends, but will have Thursday and Friday off this week to see my granddaughter in San Diego.
