There's an OLD cliche, "Everyone at some point in time will have their 15 minutes of fleeting fame!" WELL.......here's MINE! 8-)

Also, a side note, I TRULY, TRULY wish with ALL my heart that this possible call out for us were under better conditions BUT......since we belong to NASAR, National Association of Search And Rescue, there's a REMOTE possibility that we could be called out for the aftermath of Ivan. With this being such a monster hurricane and massive destruction possible, we've volunteered our unit for SAR missions.

Congratulations to the two of you! I wish you the best of luck in the days ahead. Hoping for the best in case you get called out once Ivan hits land.

Thanks gang! Like I said, we DON'T do this for recognition etc, we do it because WE LOVE IT....it's OUR way of carrying out the Last GREAT COMMISION...."Love One Another!" This IS our minisitry!

NOW.....we didn't get the call out, Thank Heavens! Yes......the damage was HORRIFIC to say the very least  but not to the extent where additional SAR Units were needed!

Thanks Jennifer, like I said, we do it because we LOVE it......I mean, what better way to show your love and caring for your fellow man? Sure, we've had several *live finds*, then a bad search comes along and turns from a rescue to a recovery  but...we all have that in the back of our minds.
