I've recently dragged out a few well-worn
"keepers". Right now, Santana's "Supernatural"
is in my CD player!

I share my car with Nina now. She's 17 and went to several concerts this summer. I have a simple 1 disc CD player so we're usually listening to one of her CD's, which I like to be honest! She pretends to be annoyed I like her choice in alternative music but leaves the CD's in the car when she's at school. And no I don't crank it...that would look pretty odd, 49 year old woman listening to Modest Mouse! So if you sat next to me at a light you'd never know I was listening to her music. But I have to say it keeps me current and alert! LOL

At this moment (although it is not playing), I opened it up to find Norah Jones.

I've got Rascal Flatts in mine. I just moved into a new house and moved the CD player that had long been in storage. I didn't know what was in it, and I plugged it in in the garage and pushed play to have something to listen to while I cleaned. I "rediscovered" the Rascal Flatts' first CD and can't get enough!

Ahhh some of my favorites mentioned here! I love Modest Mouse, Rascal Flatts, Gretchen Wilson....... most everything I've seen, but in my cd player right now is Kimberley Locke's (from Season 2 American Idol) One Love cd.. it's far better than I thought it would be and I'm glad I took the chance and bought it!

Jackie - I love Kimberly's "Eighth World Wonder". If I didn't know the song was from her initially, I wouldn't have believed it was from her. She's a great singer and that's a catchy little song! :D

I've heard it and it is beautiful! Actually, through out Clay's tour, he's been having his bodyguard audition people in the audience to sing a song with him on stage. Guess which song they want to sing with him overall???? :lol:

I've been to one concert at Caesar's in Atlantic City on 7/30. I was in my glory. This night was even more special because he brought a little 6 yrear old boy up on stage with him to sing "This is the Night" with him. The boy's name is John Martin and he has a severe heart condition, amongst other ailments. Through the Make a Wish Foundation, little John wanted to sing this song with Clay. Clay had introduced him and then had his stylist spike his hair. The performance had everyone crying. Here's a picture of the performance;
