Good list Garrett! :D ('Specially #2, 4, 6!)

My list would change all the time, but how I'm feeling today, it would look something like this:

10. Kelly Clarkson- Anytime
09. Brad Paisley & Alison Krauss- Whiskey Lullaby
08. Kimberley Locke- Before
07. Tesla- Words Can't Explain
06. Silverchair- Ana's Song
05. Reba McEntire- Somebody
04. Kanye West- All Falls Down
03. Jessica Simpson- My Way Home
02. Kimberley Locke and Clay Aiken- Without You
01. Train- Ordinary

All kinds of different music in there I know, but I can never settle for listening to just one genre!

No particular order..I find it nearly impossible, for each song is valued on a whole different scale of merits.

"Awaken" - Yes
"Have you Forgotten?" - Darryl Worley
"Hey Jude" Beatles
"Where were you when the world stopped turning" - AJ
"Harvest Moon" - Neil Young
"Close to the Edge" - Yes
"Dark Side of the Moon" (entirety) Pink Floyd
"Dear Mr. Fantasy" - Traffic
"Stuck in the middle with You - Steelers Wheel"
"From the Beginning" - ELP

quick edit --- "Whiskey Lullaby" my latest favorite bestest song

an impossible task....as I sit here I can think of hundreds of songs that belong here

All Apologies - Nirvana

Jane Says - Jane's Addiction

Imagine - John Lennon

New Year's Day - U2

Not For You - Pearl Jam

Fear Is Never Boring - raisins (regional/local band that *almost* made it)

Artichoke - raisins/psychodots (local band again)

Hugo Vet--

I have a story I like to tell to Nirvana fans. I was backpacking in Europe in '97 and stopped by to see the Duomo. Actually, I was photographing the baptistry, with the steps of the Duomo behind me... and I began to hear these guitars start playing and girls start giggling. Next thing I knew, there was a group of 5 or 6 long-haired 14-15 year old Italian boys singing Smells Like Teen Spirit. It was great! Particularly because they sang the lyrics with their heavy Italian accents while also trying to sing 'grunge' style. It was so much fun to watch!

But best of all was the representation of art through the ages: the 13th century duomo edifice, Ghiberti's Doors of Paradise, Kurt Cobain, and photography (me).

8-)
