S2K is now OFFICALLY the biggest on the net! Congrats!!!!

I happend to drop by twc yesterday and noticed they have done some deleting or something but anyways thier membership now stands at around 3,000 or so which now means Storm2K is the largest wx community on the net here in the USA!

This feat i must say call's for a big congrats to the admins, staff, and members of S2K! This site is now the biggest and the best! :D

Actually, I checked Yahoo groups directory and the top weather group listed has 10266 members. Well, it's listed under "weather," but when you click on it, it's some freakish Arabic adult group (the home page photos sure weren't hurricane tracking charts). Not sure why they categorized it that way. :roll:

Anyway, I'm not on AOL (another large "community) with smaller groups and chat rooms. But if Yahoo (the freebie) doesn't have a larger group, I don't know who would.

Good fact-checking there, Harry! :)

Way to go, Storm2K!!

Well i have been here sence we had around a 100 or so members and i know the staff, Admins and members did alot of arsebusting to get us where we are at today and i felt this was a much needed mentioning for all the hard work everyone put into making this the place it is today!

Congratulations to S2k, of course. WeatherMatrix boasts more people...more signed on, but my activity there is minimal, and I believe it is for a vast majority of others.

S2K is about people who love weather, not just about weather. It is that component that sets us well above the rest...whatever the numbers.

Congratulations Storm2k!! Thanks to all of the staff/administrators...as well as of course, the members!!! I'm just glad I could be along for the ride the last couple of months, but I have done my fair share of posting. But once again congrats!!!
