I know it was on The O'Reilly Factor. I thought this was a major twist indeed. :o

WOW! What a shock!!!! If Laci's husband isn't guilty...I'm gonna feel really bad for the HORRIBLE thoughts I had about him. Then again, I hope he isn't...and they find the monster behind all of this and he...well, get's the worst possible punishment for this (these) crimes!

I heard that this particular body was dumped in the waters, not too far from Laci and Connor, last May.

I'm not surprised and here's why. Just a few days ago I read a story about another missing young pregnant woman. Somewhere in the CA area I think. She left behind a 5 year old son. Her family wanted her picture up on the show America's Most Wanted but for some odd reason were told it wasn't possible. They wanted the same attention that Laci's story was getting. I will try my best to find this story/link. I think it was on the ABC website somewhere.

This is just terrible news though. OMG is all I can say.

Quick Edit - I can't find the article I was referring to. I'm almost certain the other missing pregant woman was from CA somewhere or the West Coast. But I did find another missing pregnant woman story (not sure if she's been found by now or not). Yikes, what is this world coming to?

You are correct Mary. Seems Evelyn Hernandez had no family to speak up except two sisters that live here in the United States and are poor. O'Reilly stated that the reason she did not make headlines like Laci is because she was poor and Laci was "upper middle class" That is also what happened with the Elizabeth Smart case... because there are children that were kidnapped in poor neighborhoods as well but never made the national spotlight. I believe Mr. Smart went public with that also.

Thanks Linda for confirming that story. Not that I wanted to be correct, the thought of another missing CA pregnant woman is one too many. There shouldn't have been any. I did read her family was resentful that Laci's story caught so much attention and their sister's disappearance didn't. It should have. Maybe now the media will feature Evelyn's story more.

All of it is just so sad. I well remember being this far along in my pregnancies - you wake up each day so excited to be having a baby soon. Anticipating what it will be like and picturing rocking your baby. Sadly, they won't get to do that. Tragic.

I remember when Amber Wilde disappeared a handful of years ago...she just happened to be 6mo pregnant and was a student at UWGB. I think its been like 5 years now...and still no Amber. It breaks my heart when someone disappears.

This is so sad, it's hard to believe
people can live in such a great country
and do such horrible things to each other.
To think of all the men and women who died
fighting for our freedom to live in this country
and then there are idiots like these who
can only think of violence and casually killing
innocent people as if it were a sport. There are
some sicko people out there and I hope they
are brought to justice.
