6 months!

#1 Postby weatherlover427 » Wed Sep 29, 2004 6:52 am

I forgot to mark the date with all the tropical activity that has been going on recently, but September 16th marked my 6 month anniversary of being 99% independent and (almost) living on my own! :)

I moved down here on a Tuesday, and the 16th was a Thursday. I had high hopes for this move and it has led up to my expectations. I have made a lot of very major accomplishments while living here, including:

* Not missing a medication dose for the past seven and a half months. <<< (Before this I missed as many as 10 doses per month  ).
* Not getting yelled at any more for having a dirty apartment. (Seriously! That is how I earned my one bedroom. :D )
* Getting the job that I had at Sav-On - all by myself, with no help from anyone else. :) :D
* Meeting lots of new friends and neighbors (including some rather attractive female neighbors  ).
* No more playing with water and flooding anything.
* No more obsessive compulsive behaviors.

I could go on and on but I have come a very long way in this past year and I wanted to tell everyone how proud of myself I am. :)

Great job, Joshua.

I apologize for "going off" above. We are in a similar situation, more or less.. but so opposite at the same time in terms like these.
