The Teacher Who Sent Kid Home With Poop

#1 Postby canegrl04 » Tue Oct 05, 2004 4:41 pm

Anybody hear of the recent story in Dallas about a teacher who made a 6 year old boy go home with his poop in his backpack? The teacher got suspended.Apparently, the boy had an accident on the classroom floor, and the teacher wrapped it up and sent hmi home with it.
Turns out he has a bowel control problem due to an accident he has a few years ago.
I think someone should've put it in the teacher's desk 8-)

There was a girl in my first grade class who had the same problem. All the other kids used to pick on her. I was the only one who defended her. I even got sent to the principal's office for beating up this one kid who was really mean to her.

This brings back a horrid memory...when I was in first grade, one girl was just released from the hospital, and had bladder complications.

She asked, then begged the Sister who taught the class to go to the restrrom, and was repeatedly denied. As a result, she wet herself...and h this Sister decided to make an example of her by making her read, standing up with her back to the class.

When I wen't home, I mentioned this to my parents; the VERY next day, the girl was transferred out of our class to another, more kindly Sister's.

Some people shouldn't be allowed that kind of power...this is just another example. (BTW, the Sister we had at the time was removed a few years later, and sent to her Motherhouse, then to a Catholic mental hospital.)

That poor kid! OMG, you almost think is this story really true? What was that teacher thinking? This kid probably felt bad enough but then to have this punishment imposed upon him went way too far. That teacher should be fired. She will get hers someday.....years from now, maybe she'll know what it's like to lose control - we can only hope that for her. This kid will never forget this incident! Nor will his classmates.....again, poor kid.
