In the last few weeks, I have been taking these "tests", from National Spelling Bee "winning words", to "would you be a good Fortune 500 CEO", to knowledge of the Middle East; from word definitions to grammar to "tough SAT questions", and I've found them so sophomoric that I've consistently scored 100% on all of them.
Not "tough" at all, as I would have answered them correctly when I was 16. My question is...why are these being billed as "highly difficult", or are our college-age undergraduates so ill-prepared that they actually "are"?
