Paging Alfred Hitchcock!

PAGING ALFRED HITCHCOCK: Residents in Holsworthy in North Devon, England, were terrorized by a "dive-bombing" buzzard which attacked at least 20 bicycle riders. The bird would dive down on bikers and claw their heads. Those wearing helmets found gouges in them instead of their scalps. But the buzzard "met its match" when it chose a new target: a van. "It took on more than it could chew," said a spokeswoman for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. It was killed instantly. (Reuters) ...Sometimes you just can't get a head.

You would have thought that a bird would know not to attack something with a mass several hundred times greater than its own! We have that sort of thing in my area - in Gloucester there were a couple of seagulls that kept attacking people at a car park.

There were some swifts or swallows that used to attack people over by the aircraft paint hangar and the aircraft wash rack at Clark AB in the Philippines. Guess they werent happy about something and were going to make sure everybody knew it.
