MSH Update

#1 Postby canegrl04 » Mon Oct 11, 2004 9:46 am

Shes letting off more steam. Her dome has risen to 330 feet, now. Before they lowered the alert level last time, she had risen to 150 feet..Back in 1980 before she blew, the dome was at 450 feet

Scientist believe because her quakes are so uniform in size,it means there is a steady flow of magma running thru her.
The alert level,I am told, has been raised to 3 again.

Looks like MSH is getting ready to put on a spectacular show

I believe I read either in another thread here or heard on the tube that they are now expecting this expected eruption to rival the 1980 one except the don't think it will go sideways like the last one, but up. Has anyone else heard or seen this?
