Amber Alert For Two Sisters Missing From Louisville

Police have issued an Amber Alert for two young sisters who may be with their father, who is wanted on rape and sodomy charges.

Louisville, Kentucky police are trying to find six-year-old Kathia Knuckles and her two-year-old sister Karissa Knuckles.

The girls may be with their father, 39-year-old Keith Darnell Knuckles.

The two young girls and their father are African American.

Six-year-old Kathia is 4'1" tall, 60 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with blue and white check boxer shorts.

Two-year-old Karissa is 2'1" tall, 30 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pink, white and yellow one-piece outfit.

When police went to arrest Knuckles on sexual assault charges, they found a five-year-old girl dead inside the home.

That girl turned out to be Kathia and Karissa's sister, whose name and cause of death have not been released.

Keith Darnell Knuckles and the two missing children have not been seen since Monday morning in Louisville.

Knuckles is 5'5" tall, 137 pounds and wears glasses.

Knuckles was last seen driving a Black 2001 Mazda Tribute with Kentucky license plate 1835-MT.

Police ask if you have any information to call 9-1-1.

They found them, just minutes after I posted this Dayton, OH area police found the 2 girls during a traffic stop in Miami County, OH. I learned of this at 7am but didn't have time to post until now...anyways the good news is they're safe.

Authorities cancel an Amber Alert in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Authorities say police recognized the car of 39-year-old Keith Knuckles and pulled him over near Dayton, Ohio about 5 am Tuesday.

His two daughters, 6-year-old Kathia Knuckles and 2-year-old Karissa Knuckles, were with their father and apparently okay.

Authorities issued the Amber Alert early Tuesday morning after police say a 5-year-old dead girl was found inside Knuckles' Louisville home. Police originally went to Knuckles' residence because he was wanted on rape and sodomy warrants.
