Office Christmas Luncheon!!!

#1 Postby sunny » Fri Dec 17, 2004 10:28 am

It's today. They call it our Holiday Luncheon, I call it our Christmas Luncheon!! Looking forward to a few White Russians. Our attorneys "entertain" the staff at our luncheons, it's usually good for a few laughs!!

we've been having them all week, with the official one last week (the one with the booze). Each department has their own individual party as well, and our's is today. I'm already stuffed.

We have our "department luncheon" next week.

Does your department do a "pot-luck" type party? I miss those!!

Our party is today also starting at noon. We get paid for the whole day and we have a gift exchange(most prople bring liqour). It is catered so who knows what it will be. Hopefully it is more than finger foods(it will be). They also hand out bonuses if we get them(this is my first year here).

We had our holiday luncheon/party yesterday. WAY too much food; the company supplied lunch meat trays, salads.. and everyone brought something to eat. No booze; we had a bad experience a few years ago when the annual holiday party ended at 9 am.

Every employee received a weeks' salary as a bonus, and lots of gifts were exchanged. I've never seen so many presents under a single tree in my life.
