Cops: Man Rages at Fast Food Restaurant

DuBOIS, Pa. (AP) -- A Burger King customer berated the employees and nearly hit one of them with his truck after the clerk at the drive-thru window told him they were out of french fries, police said.

Gregg Luttman, 22, made an obscene gesture at the drive-thru clerk on New Year's Day, then walked into the restaurant and cursed at the staff, Sandy Township police Sgt. Rod Fairman said.

When he returned to his pickup truck, he saw restaurant workers taking down his license number and put the vehicle in reverse, nearly hitting one of them, Fairman said.

After being stopped on a highway a short distance away, Luttman scuffled with police and kicked out the back window of a police car, Fairman said.

Luttman was charged with assault, reckless endangerment and other offenses. He was freed Monday on $2,500 bail.

Last summer we stopped at a Burger King in Diamondhead MS on our way back from boating. Guess what, they were out of hamburgers.  I did not want a burger anyway so we walked across to the Waffle House. Kids were not happy though.

McD's are way better, lol! The guy's actions seem rather extreme considering it was all over heavily salted pieces of potato.

Customers think they are ALWAYS right! That is the most overused, untrue phrase! That guy was an idiot whining over something as simple as french fries.

What a way to dig a grave, scuffle with law enforcement and knock out a cruiser's window.

I have a good one for you...our local McDonald's was robbed on Christmas Eve. The fool crawled thru the drive thru window and had a gun and demanded money. For some reason, I don't remember what, he shot one of the employees, not life threatening, but he shot him, then crawled back out thru the drive thru window and left on foot.

The stupid fool didn't cover his face......the irony of the story.....he used to work there. Did he NOT think they would remember his name?????

Dumb teenager!

He was caught very shortly thereafter walking down the road.

The McDonald employee called out the robber's name "Darius" and told him that was not a real gun so "Darius" shot him in the leg. It was the McDonald's on Market Street. The robber was Pascagoula High School's basketball stand out or "star" as the local liberal paper labeled him. Now he will be a star in Parchman.
