Keep your fingers crossed for me (please!)

#1 Postby alicia-w » Thu Jan 06, 2005 3:20 pm

I am so tired of this job and all the associated BS that goes with it (reference 60 Minutes last night: Darlene Druyun)

so I stepped out on a limb today and applied for a job with Homeland Security in Tucson...

Would accomplish two goals with one effort: get out of here and get back to AZ!!

COOL Alicia-w! We go to Tucson about every 4-5 months, my sister lives there and our best friends live down there, in fact, we're planning a trip in Feb to escape to cooler weather and *Thaw out* for a day or two. Kelly.....there's NO NEED to HURRY, with the cold temps we've been having, these mountains of snow are NOT leaving anytime SOON and with as many systems as there are piling up in the EPAC, I'd venture to say we'll have snow on the ground until May (it's gonna be one of those years when we don't see dirt until then)

Be patient and stay focused, and I'm sure you can make it happen. Would be glad to see you back in the Grand Canyon State! Of course, Tucson isn't exactly Wickenburg, but it is a start.

If, along the way, you are interested in employment in the Phoenix area, drop me a note about what you are looking for. I've only been here 7 years myself, but my network of connections continue to grow.
