Anybody filed their taxes already?

I have! :D

Just did mine this morning before work. In December, we got the option to sign up to receive eW-2's (electronic). They were available yesterday afternoon, so I logged in and printed mine out. I already had my telefile form at home so I tried to do it last night, but the recording said that the service wouldn't be available until this morning. So, first thing this AM, I called again and entered my info. Then I chose to have my refund directly deposited into one of my accounts. Last year, it took only 10 days, so I suspect it will probably be about the same this year. Imagine, having your tax return before the end of January, when most people are still waiting just to get their W-2's!

Modern technology sure as come a long way! :D

Yes, but they said it will not be available for online viewing until January 31st.

And it will not be mailed out snail mail UNTIL January 31st. Either way, I have to wait.

I quit my SECOND job in November - they, and, my
present employer, always wait until the VERY legal
last day to send out W-2s....January 31st! Then, I
make a date with H&R Block!

No W-2's yet, but we'll be paying in this year...so filing will take place about April Fools Day!
