"Guuuulp......starting TOMORROW!"
WELL folks, my hopes, my DREAMS have JUST come true...talked to the Commander of Pinetop Police Dept about 3/4 hour ago, I "START, FULL TIME, TOMORROW!"
Let's see, I've got the SAR Unit to command, a FULL time job with PLPD, going to SCHOOL FULL TIME (at least THIS semester is a PIECE of CAKE, I'm 2 WEEKS ahead already) PLUS our BUSINESS.........buy hey, "I LOVE" this kinda pressure, I function BETTER at this pace than just laying around!

Thanks gang! Ed, Karan, ya know, it's REALLY not as BAD as it sounds....#1. The business is DEAD right now, still up to our butt in MUD, can't work too much and we've already hired someone full time for the business, going to start the kid in April full time! #2. The SAR unit, we haven't had a search in 9 weeks now, been on standby NUMEROUS times but the victims have walked out! #3. School, like I said, it's taking me 2 days and I'm DONE for the week and I'm "2 WEEKS ahead", I mean, how HARD can dusting for/pulling/lifting and comparing fingerprints be? There's a computer system for THAT!
Bottom line, I *sound* (old NAVY trick, LOOK BUSY) busy but when it comes down to it, I'm REALLY NOT!

...and don't forget, you are also Santa's stand-in each Christmas!!!
Wow, Dennis. Great news for you.
I have some wonderful lifelong friends in law enforcement. They wouldn't trade the job for the world, but some of what they see, some of what they know, and some of what they can never talk about, has been quite a load to carry over the years.
Nevertheless, I have so SO much respect for those who truly are dedicated to law enforcement and the art and craft of helping others.
The moonlight over your mountain tonight is my connection to you...so look up and know how much I wish you well.
