My father's battle continues ... and prayers still needed ..
I think a lot knew that yesterday he had a procedure to restore his vocal chords (by re-attachment of the chords themselves) - however, swelling caused by the procedure almost completely cut his windpipe off ... the size of the airway was maybe just a few pin needles wide ... the swelling will go down now that the doctors at the ER have him stabilized for the moment. I'm going back to the ER shortly after I post this ... so please pray and think about him, myself, and the rest of the family ... I don't think I've ever been so scared like I was earlier today.
Thank you again.

Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone ... Just a quick update while I'm eating lunch.
He's doing better, and looking/feeling a lot better than earlier this morning, but it's only half the battle right now. He will be kept in the hospital today and tonight for continued observation ... anxiety also aided to the problem last night and this morning ...
I'll keep everyone posted ... going back to the hospital shortly ...

Thanks again ... just a quick update ... my father's now in the ICU unit for observation to make sure the swelling doesn't go back up in his throat ... visiting hours there are over and won't start again until 4 pm so I'm back home until then ... I'm probably going to lay down a couple of hours to rest up myself ...
Thanks again for your support everyone ...
