This may make me sound like some tree-hugging, yuppy goofball, but I have to admit I've fallen in love with Bikram Yoga! Basically, it involves 26 different asanas (postures) practiced twice over the course of 90 minutes in a 100-degree room. Sounds crazy, eh? Well, I thought it was at first, but I'm addicted now. I have always had a weak lower back, and it's amazing what this has done for me in the past week. There are all sorts of people in class, ranging in age from 18 up to 60 or 70. I'm already much more flexible than I ever remember being, and it has been nice to have that good sore feeling again.
Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else had tried it. I HIGHLY reccomend it to anyone who has a studio nearby.
Check out
http://www.bikramyoga.com for more info and to find a studio/class! I'm not sure how updated the site is, because the studio here in Madison has been open for a couple of years and it isn't listed here. You can also do a simple search in Yahoo or Google.
