Political posts

Members -- Please remember, any post with obvious political content (joke, article, opinion) or about a topic which can be hotly debated should be posted in the Political Arena.

Of course, there are gray areas, but please try to use your best judgment. We will move posts and threads into the appropriate forums as we see fit. I have already moved two today.

Sorry 'bout that ... I didn't think the last line in mine pushed it over the line to overtly political, but I defer to your jugement. :-)

What a prune Duck!!!

lol.. j/k... When we made the Political forum it was for the members that didnt want to have to be subjected to some of the hard core political debates we get into.. I cant blame them as some of them get very nasty and I find myself asking why I even check the PC forum at times.. So Duck isnt trying to be "the bad guy".. She is just trying to respect the wishes of those that dont need nor want the extra headaches that political debates come with.. I wasn't aware that one of yours was moved Jan.. But no need for an apology what so ever :-) And it may not even be what you typed, but what she for seen someone replying with :-)

Thanks for understanding

Yeah, well ... I had sworn off the PA after I found I couldn't stay out of flame wars there last fall. The last week or two I've found it just a little too difficult to stay entirely away, though! :-)

Come on, tropical season! I need some distraction from politics!

Thanks for understanding

No problem, I was undecided myself as to which forum it belonged in.

Thanks for the conservative reminder Duck that we need to keep the liberal topics in the political forum where Democrats, Independents, and Republicans can duke it. If we allowed anarchy here, how would we keep order? It is important that mods continue to govern with the sensibility they have always had. After all, they represent us all!

Oops... I made a political post in the off-topic forum. Sorry, couldn't resist!
