Anyone do "open mike," or Karioke?

#1 Postby StormChasr » Fri May 06, 2005 12:56 pm

I often do open mike at clubs, as I am a decent guitar player. Last night, I got to sit in at a club in Savannah, where I am doing some business. Got to play a few of my favorite old songs, and that cheered me up a fair bit.

Good Lord no, lol. I leave that to people who can sing, lol. That, or people who are very very drunk.

Only when liquored up!

I like to sing but don't have a great voice. I'd only get up to do that if I was with a group of people and was feeling no pain.

Well I love to sing but it takes quite a bit of Chardonnay to get me to sing in public.

All it took was two Martinis and a Martin D-45 that the guy in the group had.

Yes. When I'm well, I sing at Karaoke, Open Mike, and guest stints with a couple of local bands, including a band called "The Cool" ... last week, I stinted with them on Friday. They are playing tonight in West Ashley, but I have to get up too early tomorrow morning.

This is me singing w/Rachael on Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" ...
