In an early look at the inner workings of the Britney Spears-Kevin Federline marriage, the following exchange is revealed, PEOPLE reports in its new issue:
Britney: "I kind of want someone to take care of me. Is that the stupidest thing you've ever heard?"
Kevin: "That may be the smartest thing you've ever said."
That's just a snippet of what the couple will reveal on their reality show Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, which premieres May 17 on UPN.
The six-part series is a compilation of the newlyweds' home videos, beginning from when they met at a Hollywood club in 2004 and ending with their surprise wedding last September. "It's a personal journey," a production source who has seen the footage tells PEOPLE. "Britney uses the camera to seek out answers."
Her questions involve issues such as love and commitment. And she's not afraid to show Kevin as something less than a sweetie pie. "He's tough on her. This is not a guy who constantly says, 'You look great,' 'You look perfect.' She respects his honesty," says the source. What you don't see: a pregnant Spears – the series ends with her wedding to Federline.
But what the series may lack in breadth it makes up for in depth. Writing about Chaotic on her Web site, Spears notes, "It's like my own therapy. I hope you guys enjoy our little project! We are having so much fun putting it all together."

It's kinda pathetic that she's trying so hard to compete with Jessica Simpson. Unlike BS, JS has natural talent and really can sing so I suspect that she'll stick around longer. BS is a has been who is trying desperately to grasp on to what popularity she has left. I think we're seeing the last days of Britney.

Sorry you don't agree with me, but JS can carry a tune and hit high notes unlike BS who must lipsinc everything. I don't particularly care for either's style of music but that doesn't mean JS doesn't have a good singing voice.

As long as she is happily married to Kevin for the rest of her life, I'll be better off going out with another woman or remaining the single man I am right now. Heck either way I feel going out with another woman is best or remaining single. At least I give britney good luck in her pregnancy. From there, who knows what happens, we may never know.
