Cops: 'Wendy's' Finger Traced to Owner
Friday, May 13, 2005

SAN JOSE, Calif. — The finger that a woman said she found in a bowl of Wendy's chili came from an associate of her husband who lost the digit in an industrial accident, police said on Friday.

"The jig is up. The puzzle pieces are beginning to fall into place," San Jose Police Chief Rob Davis said.

He said authorities "positively confirmed that this subject was in fact the source of the fingertip."

Anna Ayala (search), the woman who said she found the finger, was arrested last month at her suburban Las Vegas home.

Oh, she lives in Vegas. Well, now it all fits!

Just kidding.....man, it took this long to figure it all out. That woman is nuts.

Sunny - oh she probably just annoyed him in her usual way the first time!

Now come on, wouldn't the person missing the finger want it reattached? Hello?!! Did he not have good insurance? Lose a finger, eh, I have 9 more......no biggie.

Get it - Biggie Fries?!!!

Wendy's should start a new contest....the person who finds a finger in their food gets $1000, a fingernail could win you $100, a toe could win you $10,000....or something to that effect LOL.
My wife and I ate at a Wendy's today. We turned down the free frosties, tho. Didn't have time.
