MY SISTER HAD THE BABY!!
My sister and her husband had tried for 2 years to get pregnant and she finally got pregnant on SEPT 11th!! Here is the story about Sept 11th for us..........well, we all remember the WTC, well it is also my sister's birthday and the day my father took his own life. So that day being her birthday had been a bad day for her for about 11 years and it was GOD'S blessing for her to get pregnant that day so we can erase all the bad memories. The greatest thing about it was that we found out she was pregnant 2 days after Ivan hit. What a ray of sunshine in such a bad time!! They had been taking drugs to help get pregnant and she knew she would be ovulating on Sept 10,11 & 12 but her and her husband decided to only make love on the 11th so that if she did get pregnant, they would KNOW it was on the 11th!
She is having a little girl, Kolstyn Ann Dana, the FIRST grandaughter on both sides!!! Anyway.........I am so excited.............Iwill keep you all posted!!!!!!

I couldn't be happier for you and your family.
You, yourself, don't have to be reminded that the low points in our lives are there for a reason...they help us recognize and appreciate the high ones.
Great news. I'll send you updated photos of my granddaughters one of these days as a reminder of what your family is in store for!!!
Love you, girl.

Sandi - I am so very happy for your sister and her husband, and YOU. What a proud aunt you'll make to this little baby. I had goose bump reading about your family connections to Sept. 11th (so sorry to read about your dad). How nice something very good could come out of tragedy. My dad passed away 90 minutes past midnight, the day after my birthday. For 3 years my birthday was very sad. All I could think of was losing my dad to cancer. Then I had Laura 2 days before my birthday and I was discharged ON my birthday with her. In my case, her birth turned around my sad memories of my birthday (my dad went downhill the evening of my birthday and we were all thinking the same thing, not on Mary's birthday, please God). And now you all have little Kolstyn to focus on.
Sincerest congratuations coming your way Sandi!
Hugs to you too!
