FORT WORTH - A teen-ager who was stopped while driving a slain couple's car Wednesday was arrested after struggling with an officer and running through Meadowbrook Elementary School.
Lance Kirk, 17, of Fort Worth was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest. Later Wednesday evening, police said they will seek a capital murder charge against Kirk in the deaths of Robert Griswold, 58, and his 47-year-old wife, Joan.
Kirk's bail was set at $1 million.
The Griswolds' bodies were found inside their home in the 7100 block of Francisco Drive shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday by police who had been called to check on their welfare.
