Now if this is too personal just say so, just curious, how many moving violations have you had? This is the Gods honest truth, in the 28 years I've been driving, I've NEVER received a speeding ticket, NEVER.....course now that DOESN'T mean I don't speed "LOL!" I've just never been caught 8-)

I've been stopped ONCE and given a warning, scared the bageebers outta me. :roll:

1 ticket... Was for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign... Was the first day I got my new car and it was a stick shift... First time ever driving one, so i was just going to roll through it so that i wouldnt have to start in first gear again... lol...

In 41 years (yes you heard me, I've been driving that long) anyway, if I can remember back that far, I've only had 1 ticket for going 55mph in a 45 zone. I swear ossifer, I didn't do it. Besides I had to go fast cause I had to Go Potty!!!!

In the 22 years I have been driving - I have never received a speeding ticket. I too have received one warning - doing 75 in a 45 - I was late for work and it was the truth. Guess he believed me. I formerly owned 2 Firebirds and those cars can go

- now with my Avalanche I'm more subdued and try to keep it at the speed limit. Heavyfoot = more gas = more moola!!!!

I try not to get more than 1 ticket per decade! LOL

Last one was 12 years ago so I'm about due! 98 in a 65 in a Hyundai. I just think the officer wanted to make sure what he saw. ;-)

I lost count a couple years ago, but the last ticket i got for speeding was 1 month ago... I was doing 65 in a 45, didn't see the sign. but i think that was my 7th ticket since 1994

I got one a long time ago but I took defensive driving and it was dropped. I've gotten quite a few warnings...mostly verbal. I've gotten away with a lot! :wink:

Don't get me wrong...I drive great...I just wish everyone would get out of my way. :roll:

In my 16 years of driving, I have gotten 2 speeding tickets. And they were within 6 weeks of each other. One was for driving 50 in a 35 zone (I was running late for work, and I got there even later). The other one I was following a line of cars going about 77 on a 55 zone in the left lane (I honestly had no idea how fast I was going - I was just keeping up with the traffic). I was the last car in the line and the only one who got stopped. That last ticket was over 12 years ago, so I have been good (er, I mean lucky :wink:

) since then!

I have sometimes pushed it but in over 40 years the only moving violation I ever got was when I missed a stop sign in Tombstone around midnight as we came back from a storm chase. My son and wife, OTOH, have a collection of speeding tickets and warnings. I drive a Trade Federation Ore Transport while they have X-wings and advanced TIE Fighters with souped up hyperdrive. In fact, my Xmas gifts to my son including a radar detector and a Laser/Radar Jammer plus he has diffraction grating material on his car to scatter laser light.

I have never had a speeding ticket. I am a safe driver and respect the power of destruction a vehicle can do if not handled properly..I wish more people drove responsibly..especially on US19 our major deathtrap..MF will back me up on that one!!! :wink:

In the 3 1/2 (soon to be 4) years that I have been driving I have never been stopped. I generally don't go too much over the speed limit... although I won't say I've never driven too fast. LOL

okay here's one.....

It was my wedding day back in 1999 and I was all panicky as you can imagine, well about an hour before I was due to exchange rings, I had to drive to the hotel to drop our bags off ready for our honeymoon in the morning (didn't wanna mess with it after the reception). Well my best man was with me and I was driving...sorry "Flying" I should say... well because I was all on edge, I realized I was doing 95 mph in a 55 and there was a nice looking car behind me...had pretty blue and red flashing lights on top of it!! Needless to say I said every word under the sun at that point!! Well The officer got out, approached me and asked... "Where the hell are you going?" LOL!! All I could say was that "it was my wedding day..and I'm all nervous" Well after a few minutes he came back over to me with a ticket that read $500.. my jaw dropped with shock!! Anyway..after all the visions of me not being able to go on this honeymoon, the officer finally drew a big happy face on the ticket and said "Congratulations, this is just a warning" and went on his way, when he left, he was laughing away!!

I'll never forget it, it was the topic of the night!! lol
