Woo hoo! I had a GREAT DAY TODAY :)

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Wed Jun 08, 2005 4:05 pm

Just thought I'd mention that I had a great day at work today..

Ms. Theresa had the day off.. but came into Wal Mart with her sister around 2-230. Just then.. the entire row of cashiers just about was looking at me going "Go ahead.. talk to her.. ask her.. yada yada yada" lol.. It was actually kinda funny..

So I calmly asked her.. and said.. "How's 5pm Friday?" and she said "Good" and that she'd be looking forward to it :wink:

That made my day lol.. Plus the fact that 3/4 of the afternoon cashiers kinda hope the thing between me and Theresa works out.. 1 of them even told me.. "she's a nice girl.. you deserve to have someone like that"..

She {Theresa} even told me.. Friday afternoon.. I need to ask the Csm's not to send her to lunch until at least 5.. since that's when I get off.. so that way we can have the whole hour..

I'm excited.. but I'm actually a little nervous at the same time.. I think she's single.. {hope she is too lol} so I may have a couple of lunches with her before I decide whether to ask maybe if a relationship between us would work out.. {wouldn't wanna do that 1st date because I wouldn't wanna scare her off lol}

I have 1 dilemma.. Should I bring enough money Friday so the 2 of us can get something to eat.. Or.. should I just bring something from home.. {like a couple sandwiches.. or some pasta left over from Thurs night or something}.. I don't know lol..

Also on a related but unrelated note.. About a month or 2 ago.. I had feelings for another girl named Ariana.. {she has since quit}.. I found out from a reliable source.. that If I would have moved fast enough.. I might be in a relationship with her right now.. But because I took it slow.. and was too nervous to ask her out.. She went with somebody else.. Guess I let her slip through my fingers.. because she really liked me and was kinda hoping I'd ask her out..

Oh well.. that's it for that lol

Lunch with Teresa 5pm Friday.. woo hoo.. Guess it's considered dinner at that time lol..

I'm so excited for you.
Please don't move too fast and consider relationships yet. Get to know her first. Take your time. Good friendships should happen first and that involves trust, patience and most of all time. I think that's why so many people get hurt. They want a relationship (romantic) to happen real fast. They think they can be in love before they even really know the person. Slow and easy. I don't want you to get hurt or dissappointed

Oh, I'd take enough money to buy lunch. No leftover pasta salad.

Have a great time!!!

LOL.. I'm not cheap..

and 1 of my wacky fellow employees had the leftover idea lol..

I have decided that I'd buy her lunch/dinner whatever lol anyway lol

:).. and I'll try not to move so fast.. But I think with the previous oppurtunity.. I was too slow.. which is why it passed by lol..

Kinda excited.. woo hoo :) lol.. Everyone at church tonight said.. "If she said yes to lunch... she's single.. because if she wasn't or if she was married.. she would have said no real quick" lol

most married women wear wedding rings. i didnt say all, i said most.

you should be okay. dont date married women unless their last name is Hilton or they are equally rich.

LOL.. no problem about being negative.. It's OK..

I think I'll have a couple "dates" with her before I rush into a potential "relationship".. I wouldn't wanna scare her off..

I have to say.. I agree with everyone in my church.. If she would have been seeing someone or married.. {obviously not the 2nd 1 lol} she would have said No real quick.. {at least I believe so}

I have 1 final hurdle to clear lol..

I've already warned the CSM's what it is lol.. I will need to ask them if they can hold off sending Teresa to lunch till 5.. {She is supposed to go at 5.. but they usually send her early}..

But we obviously can't have our date till I get off @ 5.. I don't wanna get into specifics about why I want them to hold her lunch till 5.. so I hope they don't ask lol.. But if they do.. then I'll just surrender and tell them I promised to take her out for lunch Friday.

No harm, no foul..

I am so analytical aren't I lol

I would have to agree also, but not FULLY. However, with being in Omaha, 1000 miles away from this girl and you, I cannot give it a fair estimation! :lol:

I dated once! Everyone say it with me now......... EMILY was her name! :lol: She may have been dating someone else when I went out with her a couple years ago, but she did not tell me for fear of upsetting me. Last spring, I finally had to figure out why she seemed to be avoiding me. Well, she e-mailed me with the subject line "SORRY". She had a boyfriend and was afraid to tell me. :lol:

Moral of the story, don't be too sure. ALso, Emily did not have a ring of some sort either.

Glad you can laugh about it..

I remember the word unison from HS. My 12th grade Government teacher used that word during graduation practice..

We had to practice "pomp and circumstance" in unison lol
Exiting the building {in unison}

We even had to practice {this 1 will make you laugh} GETTING LOST AND FINDING THE ARENA {in unison} lol

I remember HS and sometimes wish I could go back.. But young adulthood is not bad either :wink:

Don't want to post-jack your topic, but everytime I think of that "E" thing, I laugh because I USED care about her to where it made me sick. Then... the truth came out (and it was MORE than just a boyfriend.)

My last true girlfriend { my ex fiancee 2 years ago} made me sick so much when I cared about her..

That's why I'm being so careful with any girls I have dated.. {My carefulness may have cost me Ariana.. but in a way.. I really don't care.. lol.. because I think I'd be much happier with Teresa {if I had to choose} Teresa is much calmer.. plus she seems much sweeter as well..}

Back on topic..

Do you guys think Teresa' and I's bosses will go ahead and let her wait till 5 to go to lunch.. even if I have to explain myself why lol.. I'm sure they would.. but that's the only thing I am worried about..

I don't wanna end up getting off at 5.. asking where Teresa is and having the csm tell me.. "I sent her to lunch at 430" lol
