My miracle!

#1 Postby Amanzi » Sun Jun 01, 2003 11:11 am

On a happier note and a testiment to the power of prayer. As some of you know I have been living in a very old yucky house for the last year which has just been compounding my current problems. The house is over 100 years old, has a very shallow well for our water, no A\C (which is no joke living in florida) and I have even found a few mice running around at night (stupid cat does not consider mice a part of his dining pleasure!)

Well I have been praying for new accomodation, but it seemed so impossible, as no land lord would sign a lease with us due to our visa's and drivers licences expiring in August. Not to mention we have been spending nearly all our money on lawyers fees and the double rent and deposit for a new house just seemed way out of our reach. BUT.. The Lord came through for me and I experienced a miracle on Friday. We went to look at a house on the intracoastal water way (more out of hope than actually being able to get the place) It is 2 streets away from hubby's work (he has been driving over 45 min every day to get to work) We spoke to the owner. He told us we were the exact people he was looking for to move into the house and he will understand if we have to leave in August, he also agreed we did not have to pay the deposit because of my husbands love of plants and the connections we have with the plant nursery we live on currently ( The house is beautiful, but he has not done any landscaping). So in exchange for a little garden work and a few plants,I can proudly say...... I HAVE A NEW HOME!!!!! with A\C, city water and (drum roll please) a front garden that is right on the most beautiful stretch of water! I have dolphins for neighbours!!!

I am so happy and thankful to the Lord. There is power in prayer and miracles do happen :)

What an absolutely wonderful gift from God!! The power of prayer is an awesome force! Keep the faith and keep on praying and before you know it, you won't even have this problem with the visa's. We are still praying for that little issue to go away!!

I am so happy for you! Prayer works and God is watching over you and your family. I think your visa situation will be resolved in a way that makes us all very happy.

Congratulations on your new home!! When will you be moving?

Thanks guys, and this miracle, has just given me such a boost in my faith. Nothing is impossible through Christ! I know with all the prayer going up the outcome for our visa's will be the will of the Lord :)

We move in officially on the 15th of June, but we can move our stuff over as from next week :)
