My wife is planning a blowout party at our daughters house. Barbeque, fireworks, games. Fun for the kids. Work and expenses for the adults.

We are finally going to paint the outside of the house. The neighbors will really be happy with the new facelift.

I'm going to see Three Dog Night at the Hilton Casino on Sunday.

Philadelphia will be a hot spot this weekend with the Live 8 concert Saturday, the Freedom Concert (benefit for AIDS) on July 4 with Elton John, Patti LaBelle and Bryan Adams and the USS Cole has docked today!

I won't be going anywhere NEAR the city!! I'd love to see the USS Cole though! Hmmm...

I got to work the whole weekend. I work 1-9 on Saturday. But, I have my 3-year old little cousin's birthday party that day. So, I will try to make an hour of that before I head to work. I got to work 12-7 on Sunday. But, they actually gave me the 4th off. I know I am doing something, but nothing is set in stone; yet. I may head to Grand Isle beach with my cousin, husband, and their 3 kids. Grand Isle is Louisiana's only inhabited barrier island and it is almost a 2 hour drive from here. Then, we may head out to Thibodaux to Peltier park to go watch the fireworks. They are having a band playing and everything. Fireworks are illegal in my parish (Terrebonne)

I am SO just being a bum!!!! I am taking the entire week next week off, too ....so I wont have to see the inside of my office for 9 days!!!!

:Partytime:

I just hit my one year mark there a few weeks ago, so it has been more than a year since I have had any "me time." I think I might paint my townhome, do some summer cleaning, take my doggie to the beach, read a few of the books I've been meaning to get around to reading, bother all you people here at Storm2K  .... and otherwise completely and totally waste my time. :D

Stay home, have a cookout, watch some Independence Day movies on the tube if there's any pretty good ones, watch my neighbor and his daughter do a firecrackers show. :D

I work tomorrow.. Monday.. I kinda wanna work because until about 4-5 in the afternoon, I'll have nada to do..

I'll be going to the Kissimmee Lakefront for their 4th of July Celebration.. The Celebration goes from about 1-10 pm.. But I'll go around 5:30-6 so that I don't have to wait all day lol..

The fireworks are at 9.. and here's another interesting part.. From Kissimmee's side of the lake.. You can see St. Cloud's fireworks show from the St. Cloud side of the Lake.

Lake Tohopekaliga {toe-hoe-pa-ka-lie-ja} lol

This weekend will pretyt much be similar to any other weekend. I worked Friday night and Saturday afternoon (4 to 5 hour shifts), and work an 8 hour shift Sunday morning-early afternoon. After that, I have my grandparents from my dad's side coming over to eat. Then, I am off to church (weather permitting--might have some severe weather to contend to ;). Monday, I plan to chill at home until evening when I go over to my uncle and step aunt's house for a little celebration.
