If this is true then I'm a gonner. My mother has cooked with Teflon since it came out and she uses the pans until the coating starts to peel. I must have eaten a ton of Teflon in my lifetime. I knew it couldn't be very good since it can kill a bird if they smell something that is cooked in Teflon. I moved my parrot after I read an article about this. For a long time he was in the kitchen two feet from the stove.
