Feeling Slightly More Happier

#1 Postby Guest » Thu Jul 14, 2005 10:47 pm

:)

Lately, I have been feeling more neutural, with a slight lean on the positive side.

NO...I did not win the lottery, nor do I think I am anywhere close to even having a GENERAL female friend, much less a more "girlfriend" type of relationship (based on past experiences, it does not bother me much). :)

It is just... well... I have a job, I am going to school to get a MUCH better career (no more grocery store), and a family here (S2K) and at home that are supportive.

I'm not in the path of a hurricane; however, I think Mother Nature's furnace needs to be turned down a little (it is HOT up here). I am in good health as well.

Well, Brian you seem to have a lot to be happy or grateful for! I'm glad you think of us as your S2K family, b/c the feeling's mutual....sounds as if thing are looking up for you!

Glad to see you happy! Too many grouchy people on those Talkin' Tropics boards these days. :D

Brian - what of the things I really admire about you is even when things might be down (the prospect of maybe taking a history class over again, or feeling let down at recent Church picnics), you bounce back. And find the bright side of situations! Keep that attitude. It will take you far in life.....you could say you have the glass is half full outlook too.

You must have good parents!

I avoided that. :) The instructor meant to give me a "C-" (instead of a "D+") :D (I am SOOOOOOO glad I don't have to take those tests again! :D :D

That one evening I went (with the following thread here on S2K) back in June was the only (and likely will be the only evening I attend--picnic every other Wednesday until late August) time I went.

I felt not very welcomed. After an hour, I left for for home without ANY person stopping me on my way out! :( Oh, well, their loss! ;)

They are GREAT parents. They make a mistake every once and awhile, but who doesn't? ;) My dad does get the intuition to bring up dating ever once and awhile (especially when we are in a restuarant, sometimes he will go "Brian, that waitress/hostess made a small smile behind you!"). It worked ONCE!!! :D
