I got a number!

#1 Postby Guest » Sat Jun 07, 2003 12:38 am

I finally got a girls phone number. Yes, I know what your thinking,"Hey, wait a second, finally? It is a sad thought that up to this point I have been too shy to ask a girl about homework assignments much less for their number. Yes, it was a difficult time for me to work through. But with perseverence and words to the unwise from my mentors (father and brother) I have now graduated from "turd sandwich" to "maggot". Hopefully, in a few years, I will attain the rank of "Ladies Man". But, for the meantime, I'm just proud of myself for getting a gorgeous girl's phone number!

Hey coppertop, girls are just people too. Well, usually anyway. I mean, they put their underwear on the same way you do. Well, sort of. I mean, if you really think about it, they really don't have any power over you. Except that they can really humiliate a guy. Aww sh** Guess I'm just a turd sandwich, but without the bread.

I had to remind him of his cross-country slogan for courage...

"All other sports require only ONE ball"

For once, he actually GOT it...the rest is the beginning of HISTORY in the making...but not too soon! :o

And when, in the fulness of time, Coppertop gets his driver's license (and buys his first car and insurance!), he will be elevated from "maggot" to the status of "roach coach"...

OMG, it just dawned upon me...in but three years, he will be VOTING! :o

That's right, Ticka. If they don't like you for who you are, they're not worth the trouble. Who wants to go around trying to remember who you're supposed to be acting like. I have trouble remembering last week. With age comes PLENTY
of memory shutdowns.

Ah, yes...the "talk". I approached that subject with my usual care, with drawings, arrows, diagrams and a scientifically correct explanation of all the appropriate details. :larrow:

His response? "GEEZ, Dad!" with that "You gotta be kidding" look ONLY a pre-teen can muster...

Meanwhile, his mother is out shopping for a broom that's big and strong enough to "shoo those little hussies away"...LOL

ROFLMBO!!!! Coppertop I'm surprised the girls haven't been chasing you!!!! R those MO hussies as bad as those Kansas hussies? I'm married to the best Kansas hussie there ever was!! And my Dad's mom wouldn't come to his wedding because he was marrying that "Kansas Hussie"!!! Sad and hilarious at the same time!!

YOU GO COPPERTOP!!!

Thank goodness I got up the courage to ask the most beautiful girl at college orientation for a date. The rest is history!!

Bet there's a lot more to that story, David, that you could teach the young Jedi-in-training Coppertop! Yoda learned much from experience.

I might remind the young Jedi that he must be cautious with such numbers for at young ages, the mere discovery of that written number in the presence of another princess can find one scrambling for the Millenium Falcon.

Tis, best, warrior Coppertop if you memorize it and then eat it.
