Some Prayers are in line.....

#1 Postby weatherwunder » Tue Jun 10, 2003 10:57 pm

The Insurance Company that I work for has remote offices in a small town in Nebraska. During the storms that hit the state last night, 2 of my friends (also co-workers) had their homes totally destroyed.

One of them is due to have her first child the first week of July.

Please add them to your prayer list.

Thanks as always. Also thanks for those who hung in there with me last night during the storm that hit us.

I'll definitely remember them in prayer Jeff. I know what that feels like (having your home blown apart).

God Bless,

Thanks Jeff....but I don't feel awesome. Just someone who cares...because I've been there.

Not only do people who experience these things hang on to their fear of bad weather for a long long time, but then they must start finding ways to get things back to some sort of normal. That is never easy.

Indeed they need thoughts and prayers...but they will find that the local community will rally around them in wonderful ways. Just watch and see.

That has already started. The community is pitching in already. My office has started a collection to help out.

I am going there tommorro to see if I can lend a hand with clean=up.

My prayers are lifting you up as I type this..and rest assured, my Lodge, and York Rite bodies within the Grand Lodge of Missouri will be notified ASAP to add theirs to mine for you.

"Ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and the door wil be opened unto you."

So it is written....so it shall be DONE.

Add me to the list of those who will be praying.

It must be very very difficult to loose your home, but I should imagine the stress is double when you are expecting a first child.

Well done for being a good friend who not only listens, but takes action in helping where it is needed!
