It may not come as a surprise that cows
have bad breath, but even a good dose of
mouth wash can not prevent a dangerous
consequence of that odor.
According to researchers at the University
of Nebraska, the collective breathing of cows
accounts for nearly 20 percent of the methane
gas released into the atmosphere.
Those same researchers are now trying to
develop an additive for cattle feed that will
cut down on the gas.
Hmmm....Bovine "Scope", maybe?
