How do girls Flirt...

I don't really like to ask questions like, expeclly on a weather site since this is way off topic...but i like to find out what you all think...

How can you tell a girl is flirting with you, while talking to them on the phone, or with them around you, like what they do, how they talk, or touch someone. things like that.

I have a friend that is being weird when she is around me and i like to get some suggestings about this...Thanks and Bye!

At my age, I don't have to worry about that anymore, but I'd say that when she is giving you undue attention. That's a sign that she's interested.

acting "wierd" covers alot of territory. if a girl touches you, like on the shoulder or arm that is a good sign. also, if she dresses sexy when around you. a real tip off is if she looks directly into your eyes when you are talking. another tip is if she initiates the conversation when you are talking

So off base on these answers. Sorry but----------

I never talk to anyone that I don't look them directly in their eyes. Now if you know the girl and she has never looked you in the eye before and suddenly starts to - now, that's a sign. But watch her with others and see if she looks them directly in the eye.

Now on the undue attention issue. If you are in need of a friend and she is a kind person, she will probably give you undue attention and not be flirting at all.

Also, some people will touch your arm when they want to make a point. Don't confuse that with flirting. However, if you've talked to her in person many times and all of a sudden she starts touching your arm lol --- I think you have a direct FLIRT.

When in doubt - ask!!!!! "Are you flirting with me???" It's a harmless question and if said in fun, cannot harm a "friendly" relationship. If she says "yes". Well, I guess you take it from there!!!

I'm not trying to be mean in any way, but I have to add this. Some boys, like me, would be too shy to do that. And, you say it's a harmless question. Maybe it's just Topeka schools, but a harmless question could turn into a mess in 1 day at school. Anyone see my point?

Oh David, I wasn't trying to be insensitive in any way. I'm sorry. I don't want to make "light" of such a really important subject.

Talking to girls is very important to them. Even though you are shy, I can tell you are a very kind and giving person. Let that show when you talk to a girl. She'll like it a lot and see all the good that's inside you.

Well...I've watched my boys with their relationships over the years, and if I think back far enough, I can remember a bit.

When someone seems to find reasons to be around you...to be in places where you are. Not stalking...but just being in certain places at certain times.

Also...if they take an interest in something you are interested in.

For example, if you enjoy weather a lot...let me tell ya, if a girl starts asking you about clouds and temperatures and rain....well, there is a good chance she isn't as interested in weather as she is in you!

ROFLMBO! If anyone has figured out the female brain it would be world shattering news ;-)

I learned teh hard way ( 2 divorces ) that you just go with the flow and say "Yes Dear" a lot. :-)

It must be working....17 years and still going strong! ;-)

all the girls i know, they all use me to keep updated on the weather and that is good, hard to find a girl that is really into weather, the friends that i have is way diffenet than me on everything and that is good sometimes and bad sometimes, thanks everyone for all the suggestings you have given me so far this evening...bye!

Maybe I'm unusual for a guy, but I've always been able to tell...even back in my teenage years.

I can tell when it's a woman just being nice and friendly (i.e.- nurses at Wellstar hospital, the local Kroger where I shop)...and women that are flirting. It's a different feeling, and you can usually tell the difference.

There used to be a cute little redhead that worked at Dairy Queen, and she'd flirt with me every time I'd go there for lunch.

Over the years, I've had several young ladies flirt with me; especially at office buildings where I worked security -- maybe it was the uniform, gold badge & lieutenant bars, but I never paid a lot of attention to it -- but will admit it usually gave my ego a boost (unless it was a woman wearing a wedding ring...which always gave me the creeps).

I'm old enough now that most women don't flirt...or either I just don't notice it as much
