I noticed her T-shirt today and thought it was very inappropriate for on-air segments. I don't care if it's on location, someone toss her a shirt she didn't shrink in the dryer (intentionally,
,)If TWC is going for casual and high ratings, well this might do it.
I immediately changed the channel - but then again, I'm female......
She annoyed me last year with all the hurricanes. Seems dear Steph is the new female generation coming up the ranks. This is what they want - college campus attire meets on-air segments.
Sigh...give me the guys anyday....yikes, all my female S2K buds are gonna clobber me!
I do appreciate the other female on-assignement anchor they send out - Jeannine something? Now she has CLASS. Stephanie does not.

Glad someone mentioned Cantore. He could be standing there in a suit and tie, still look dang good. Wearing a dorky raincoat, still look hot. No matter what he's wearing - he's so professional. Period. And not bad on the eyes....
I saw Steph later in the day, same tight-tight T-shirt. I have two teen daughters so I know all about this trend - buy teeny tiny T's, forget anything above a size Small (which in the Junior clothing section is really Pre-teen size 10 or 12 now, ugh!). And of course I noticed she also is wearing something else teen/20+ girls wear A LOT - and if you're a female you'll know exactly what I mean. Go back in time, and if I had wore one, that would have been considered major cheating! The easy non-plastic surgeon route.
And now I think I've said too much! Don't want to get scolded....LOL

My mother said that she had forgotten to wear an item of clothing which was obvious. If she wants to be taken seriously, stop trying to be a femme fatale.

There is simply too much pressure gradient between her highs and her lows for Stephanie Abrams to wear a t-shirt when trying to represent the very conservative folks at The Weather Channel.
Now, you might expect Geraldo on Fox to wear lots of rubber or latex out in the storm. Maybe even some heavy chain attached between his torso and a Hummer.
And you might expect Joe Bastardi of Accu-Weather to wear an angry red cape out in the storm. I honestly think he might glow red in the pitch dark night sky if all the lights went out.
All of these folks love being part of the weather experience, and I can applaud their passion for being part of it.
But Cantore...well he clearly takes the high road wherever he goes. Hurricanes and blizzards aren't his only battles, and he has, in my mind, shown respect for both the elements of nature and the viewers as a result.
Sorry Ms. Abrams. It's one thing to cover up a handful of states with your body profile when you're back in the studio, but it's quite another to discuss eyewalls and surges when you are dressed like that.
Unless, of course, you want a job at Fox or Accu-Weather.

Sorry to break it to ya.
Sigh....you just don't get it. I'll explain. We know Jim Cantore is married. Last year he was interviewed for an in depth article. Turns out his wife and their two children have a lifelong, very serious medical disease. Please forgive, I don't recall the name of it. But their children struggle in school and his son doesn't like to be in large crowds. Jim goes out on severe wx segments but he hurries home to his family. He spoke so lovingly of his family in this article. I'm telling you right now, I cried knowing he's such a loving, loyal, dedicated husband and father.
So even MORE now, b/c he is this way, he's more appealing....in a I'm a happily married woman too! I can admire and admire all I want. If I ever met the man I would simply shake his hand and tell him how much I admire him.
Course it doesn't hurt we all think he's a major hunk (or hottie as my teen daughters say). In a George Clooney kinda way.
Hope that clears it up! This is at least where I'm coming from....
