Can your parents help out if no one here knows what to do? :)

OK well I've fixed that problem by starting over, I though what the heck it wouldn't too much of a waste of time anyway.

The second question - whenever I try to make a new photoblog this is what happens:

Warning: fopen(/home/image/www/img405/3351/satellitecpic207tc.jpg.name): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/image/www/makegalname.php on line 15

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/image/www/makegalname.php on line 18

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/image/www/makegalname.php:15) in /home/image/www/makegalname.php on line 22

Well my parents don't know nothing about Imageshack. But anyway I started over as stated in the above post. I guess I got carried away and posted that for nothing. :) Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for letting me rant. Anyway the second question posted by me in my second post in this thread is the more important one, and probably one that is more answerable.

Probably one of the more embarrasing moments I've had since I joined. hehe :P

Another question - why is it when you add an image into a photoblog and it accidently happens to be one you put there before it deletes both of them when you just click the delete button once on the image you added later? Is it because it thinks that the two are the same file?

I need another image hosting site that does the same things that Imageshack does. Does anybody know of one?

Sorry if it annoys anybody if I keep asking these questions, but I have one last photoblog of Wilma sat pics that I want to upload.

We have one right here on S2K. If you go to the home page and scroll to the bottom left you will see it.

Have you tried cleaning out your cookies, cache, and temporary internet files? I think that might solve the problem, if not, it could just be issues with the ImageShack server.

However, if you would like to search for other free hosting sites, go here. You may also like Photobucket.

Thanks for the help Calamity. I think that since it could be just server problems, I'll try again tomorrow.

Lindaloo, I am not sure how many images I can upload on S4M or if if I need to pay to register. But thanks for the link.

hello... I am the owner of s4m.us

You can upload unlimited amount of Non-member and Member uploads.
Only thing about non-member uploads... every 60 days or so I delete
images older then 3 months. This is needed to control my costs to offset
the Free Uploads.

At this time it does require a monthly fee for Member Accounts,
and Member accounts never have image deletion and can always
have full control over their images.

At this time I am awaiting word from someone,
because I am going to create a special area dedicated to
Weather Related Uploads... and once done I will announce it
and invite all storm2k.org members to upload their pics to it.

(and the Weather Uploads section will remain free as non members are,
however I will never delete any weather image uploaded to that dedicated section)

p.s.
One great advantage using s4m.us over other more popular image hosts...
is that we still dont have the server load or overhead which the others do and that slows them down.
Yes, our image load speed is more reliable and faster
compared to other services. :)
