Saw the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band on the NBC affilliate here. Wish the dance team could have been with them since they have to dance to the band. My daughter's on the dance team. I was quite upset that there were more commercials than parade footage. These bands practice hard and long for this...a 20 second clip???

Cajunmama, I noticed that they did that to a lot of bands. It doesn't seem fair to do that after they worked so hard. ULL was up and praticing 1 in the morning before the parade

I know about that...two years in a row, our local high school sent two All-American cheerleaders (handpicked!) to perform in Bowl games...but we were lucky to see them (group) for more than a 5-second interval, and as such, unable to see 'our" girls at all.

My daughter could have performed for the last 4 years with UDA/UCA in the Macy's parade but we chose not to go because of the competition expense later in the year for the dance team.
