I rarely ever eat breakfast. Usually wait until lunch. But, I have to be at work for 8 a.m. this morning. And started getting ready around 7 a.m. And when I woke up, my mom had already started cooking breakfast. So, I ate, since she went through all that trouble, even if I was not really hungry for it. It was scrambled eggs with cheese and biscuits.

I used to be the same way, till I got pregnant and had to eat to keep from getting sick, and the habit stuck, I still wait about an hour before I eat, I get up at 6:30 have a cup of coffe and eat around 8:30, been eating alot of oatmeal lately, this morning I happened to be out, so I didn't eat this morning.

I am on synthroid too. And I also got to wait an hour before I can eat. So, that is my main reason for skipping breakfast all the time. Plus, I have really bad IBS and it always seems to flare up the worse in the morning. I had to get up to use the bathroom around 5 a.m. this morning and just took my synthroid then. Usually I don't take it until I get up for the day. That is the only reason I managed to eat breakfast this morning. I did not even know my mom was going to cook me breakfast. I just got up and she was already half way through cooking it. I would of felt bad that she would of cooked for nothing this morning. So, I ate. My mom is really big on breakfast.CajunMama wrote:What's breakfast?!?!
I have to take synthroid for my thyroid in the mornings on an empty stomach and can't eat for an hour after....so there goes breakfast.

Since I am up at 6 am every week day morning for my school crossing duities, I usually eat a bowl of grits( Yes I grew up in the south!) and nothing else except my meds and then when I come in from crossing duty I will fix something more substanial. But sometimes I will buy a microwavable dish that I have a craving for and fix that for breakfast.
