How many of you are buying a powerball ticket tonight?

#1 Postby cajungal » Sat Dec 03, 2005 2:16 pm

I usually never play because I know that my odds of winning are almost none. And feel it is a waste of money. But, since the jackpot is now up to $75 million, I am going to buy a ticket. I am going to buy a couple of tickets from the gas station just up the highway from my neighborhood. One quick pick and the second one I am picking myself. I crumbled a bunch of numbers from 1-55 on a sheet of paper and picked it out of a hat. That is what I did last time and got 4 numbers right! Only 2 from winning the powerball! The only catch, I was only playing for fun because I was under 21 at the time. So, now I can play for real. My mom will just have to watch my tickets tonight because I work until 10. I won't even walk in my front door until at least 10:30, so I will personally miss it.

Only 1 number right my mom says! There goes $2 down the drain. I could not even win a doorprize at my place of employment for Family and Friends night. Sure can't win the lottery. That is why I hardly ever play and I don't even go to the casinos at all anymore. I think it has been nearly 8 months since I did any type of gambling at all.
