? for anybody in Pgh PA

#1 Postby angelwing » Thu Dec 29, 2005 10:13 pm

Ok, about 2 years ago the hubby and me just went for a ride on the PA turnpike and ended up in Pittsburgh. We went around and found a mall and in this mall they had a couple of plazas attached to it. In one of these plaza was a neat hobby store and for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it. Something wants me to say Hobby Lobby, but to my knowledge there is not a single hobby lobby in PA. Anyway, if anyone knows what I'm talking about, I would like the name of the store.

BTW, from what I've seen of Pgh, it's not a bad town :D

I know there is a hobby store in the Robinson area...outside of Pittsburgh by about 5 to 10 miles towards the airport. I dont remember the name of the store though. Its located next to Robinson Town Centre and the Mall at Robinson. I would need to drive by the hobby store to remember the name of it, but I can accomplish that when I get back home tomorrow from my vacation.

Tom is right you could have been near Robinson Town Center. If you came in on the Turnpike you might have gotten off at Monroeville or you could have gone further to Cranberry. There is a hobby store there that I think is called Hobby Express or something like that. If you got off of the Turnpike in Monroeville there are several strip malls and the Monroeville Mall. They also have hobby stores there. Did you drive thru a tunnel to see downtown Pittsburgh?? Or maybe you went thru several tunnels!!

If you saw the downtown area, you are right, Pittsburgh is a beatiful city. The people are the best part though. We are known for making lifelong friends by just standing in the line at the grocery store!!!lol Come back and see us!!
