What's your favorite meal? Mine has to be Thanksgiving, the turkey, dressing, tomato shrimp aspic and ALL the other side dishes. After Thanksgiving, I "LOVE" chicken fried steak, mashed taters, milk gravy, corn and a jalapeno pepper. Second, is ANYTHING southwestern (mexican) with HOT, HOT salsa, OH.........musn't forget Posole!

I'm a breakfast fan...in part because of the challenge of reflux disease for my entire adult life. Can't eat after 6 pm under any circumstances.

And...although I rarely eat a hearty breakfast when I do get the chance, I like scambled eggs, hash browns, wheat toast, and a side of sausage or bacon.

That traditional turkey dinner is a favorite too.

Mine is probably stuffed peppers or stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce. Nothing special, but for some reason, this is one of those "comfort" foods that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Being a late in the day/night time person... my favorite meal is dinner.

I rarely eat breakfast. By the time I get up, the morning is already over. I drink Boost about once a day, which tends to fill me up, so I usually drink most of the can after my lunch, which may be a sandwich of American cheese and either chicken or turkey... I don't like cold cuts in general. I have tried ham, both deli and baked and couldn't stand it.

We always have a big breakfast get-together on (or around)
Christmas...country ham, eggs, gravy, homemade biscuits,
sausage balls, and whatever sweets that get brought! I do
believe that it is my favorite meal of the year!

My favorite meal has to be a BBQ pork plate w/ fries and brunswick stew...from Melears or Old Hickory House..

I also love seafood...fried grouper with fries, slaw, and hushpuppies; and Italian cuisine.. spaghetti & meatballs...any type of pasta..

Of course, being a Georgia boy, nothing taste better than fried chicken, biscuits, and homemade potato salad (especially if there's also homemade banana pudding for dessert :)

I am a big breakfast fan. My favorite meal is biscuits and gravy with sausage and an egg. Top that off with orange juice or milk. :)

For a supper treat, I love roast with potatoes, carrots, and macaroni and cheese.

Have you tried Prevacid? It has been a godsend for me.

Contructionwx...I started on Prilosec back in the 80's, moved to Prevacid, and have been on Nexium for about 3 years now. Eating less and eating early is a lifestyle I have grown accustomed to over the last 20 years. This is an inherited trait...Jarrod, at age 26, has been on Prevacid and Nexium since he was 18!

Now back to the question.

I do enjoy salmon...especially blackened salmon on the grill with grilled asparagus cooked with olive oil. I like most any kind of fish, too.

Steve, I know what you mean...

I haven't been able to enjoy a large Dairy Queen milkshake or bowl of ice cream...or most other dairy products since I was 16 (lactose intolerant).

Also, I used to wonder as a teenager why my dad always removed the onions from his hamburger (when we ate out at McDonalds or Dairy Queen)...well, now at age 41 I know: because I'm now the same way as dad was then (and now).

I eat a burger (or chili dog) with onions and within a couple hours wish I hadn't :(

Linda... cancel that request. I don't want to have to eat roast in a motor boat. ;)

Well, I have restrictions; no white wheat products or red meat; more chicken and fish, fresh fruit and vegetables (not canned or frozen), minimum dairy (cheese of any kind will do). Cereals, when coppertop doesn't "hose" them, are good for me.

Anything that is NOT "frozen, 6 servings" DOG FOOD, thank you very much...which is the usual bulk of what the wife buys (and expects me to eat).
