I remember the 80s, I was 9 when they started and 19 when they ended.

I had an Atari 2600 and thought highly of it, but it just can't hold a candle to today's games.

I remember when we first got cable. My sister and I mostly watched Nickelodeon and MTV.

I remember watching the making of the Thriller album when i was in middle school.

Those things I remember a lot from that time, but I'm sure there are more that may or may not come to mind later.

The best Soundtrack to a musical/movie~ Grease. I tried to get my 7 year to buy the karaoke version so I could sing the songs and have the excuse she likes the movie and songs.

My kids have an 80's cd that they love. I refer to it as "College weird" music.

How about blue hair and safety pins as jewelry? Thought I was going to be murdered one night in the dorm as my friends and I referred to one of the blue haired, garbage bag attired kids as a smurf! After the danger passed, we nearly died laughing anyway!
