Computer Problem
Can anyone tell me why my computer clock loses time constantly. I have to reset it every few days.

Now funny this should come up, I have the exact OPPOSITE problem. My clock gains time, and at a bad pace, too. I brought up the time setting thing (on XP), and clocked it doing 30 seconds for its time when it was really only 25 seconds. So, my clock gains about 10sec/min and I notice about 5-10mins/hr. I haven't changed my clock in 2 hours now, and it reads 2:12 as I type this, when it is only 1:50. This is rather annoying, as I have to force it to synch with the time.windows server or time.nist server every hour. I haven't found anything on the internet, excpet that when your clock is slow, you should replace the battery on the motherboard (the majority of the time, anyways). Any ideas here?
