Chloe comes home on Wednesday!!! So excited!!!
Some of you might not be dog lovers in here. But, I sure am. We bring our yorkie puppy home from the breeders on Wednesday!!! I named her Chloe Cheyenne. She will be exactly 6 weeks old. My mom and I got to finish our shopping at Petsmart tomorrow for her. We still got to get her dog food, a kennel, a toy, maybe an outfit. I have been grieving over the death of my previous yorkie Lacey a lot. I miss her so much. Chloe won't replace Lacey, but she will help heal the open wound. Dogs are like our children.

Chloe will be the only pet we will have for now. We have not had any animal in the house since Lacey died at the end of June. I would love to have 2 yorkies, so she could have a playmate. But, I won't be able to a yorkie of my very own until I move out. My parents don't like more than 1 dog in the house. But, the good thing is that the breeder lives less than 10 minutes away. And she has 3 yorkies. She owns Chloe's mom. Plus, she has a male yorkie; Buddy. (not Chloe's dad) And her daughter still lives at home and she is keeping Chloe's sister. (She named her Phoebe) So, we are still going to keep in touch and sometimes bring Chloe over to play with her mom, sister, and half-brother Buddy.

She is home! My mom and I just picked her less than a half hour ago. We got all her stuff at Petsmart this afternoon. She is so adorable and so teeny! Looks like a little mouse. But, no sooner than we got her home, we have to leave her. As soon as we walked in the door, the phone was ringing. A couple of out-of town relatives are in town and they wanted my parents to meet them for dinner in Houma. And I have to be leaving in the next 20 minutes to go to work. I have to work from 5-9. Chloe is sleeping in her cage, not making a peep. I feel so bad for having to leave her already. But, I can't afford to miss work. It won't always be like this. Usually someone is always at the house. It will just be for a few hours, but I will still worry about her the whole time. Even though I know she is safe in her crate.
