For reasons that will be painfully obvious to some...China Beach.

NBC Nightly News

Er, it's a tough decision since I don't watch TV that often. I really don't have a favorite, sorry. :)

Hmmmm, reckon it would have to be Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith comes in a CLOSE second.

My first choice would have to be All In The Family, followed closely by the Original cast for Saturday Night Live. Coming in third and still going strong...The Three Stooges!

The Waltons has remained my all time favorite show since it premiered.

Second fave is Dallas and third would be Knots Landing. Fourth is difficult, probably St. Elsewhere. Fifth? Friends.

Oops, you didn't ask for 2-5?!!!! LOL

Good question. I have liked a lot of shows over the years. But I will have to go with "The Adventures of Lois & Clark". I just thought that show was great. I also enjoy "Smallville", but it is not as good as ABC's "Lois & Clark" was.

Good question...

I don't usually find a show that I have to sit and watch, but the show that I would try to sit down and watch was Touched By An Angel. There were several episodes that moved me to tears, and after seeing so many plays, skits, movies, etc. that is hard to do. It will probably go down as my fav. tv show of all-time.

Probably coming in 2nd would be Frasier.

I don't have one all time favorite, except maybe sponge bob square pants. That's so recent, it may not hold up.

Also, Green Acres, Original Star Trek, Loony Tunes, there's so many.

Most of my all-time faves growing up were all been on NBC:

Little House On The Prairie
Quincy
CHiPs
Facts Of Life
St. Elsewhere
L.A. Law
ER

I also liked the early ABC stuff (Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Love Boat ...yes, I'll admit it). But since then, ABC has gone downhill.

And finally, Xena: Warrior Princess (syndicated) and the Patty Duke Show (thanks to Nick At Nite) cuz I'm a die-hard Patty Duke fan.

Since I have to think about it, am not sure there is an ALL-TIME favorite. Every season of my life had a show or two that I enjoyed.

Recently I have enjoyed the Survivor series, Boston Public, and CSI. Everyone Loves Raymond is as good a sitcom as has come along in years...so when I need to lighten up...I can watch it and laugh. Same with Friends.

Some past favorites included NYPD Blue, ER, Doogie Houser, Mash, Seinfeld, Life Goes On, and Cheers.

When our parents come to visit, they MUST watch Hollywood Squares, Jeapordy, and Wheel of Fortune.

Kathy and I got up one time when they were watching and went for a walk. Lo and behold more than 2/3 the houses we walked by were watching the SAME shows!

I said to her...we're doomed (not that these are bad shows). When we get a few years older, we will be watching those three shows and go to bed at 7:30 when they're over.

Don't ask me this same question in ten years. You might just here me say, "Isn't that Vanna White just gorgeous!"

Chad you beat me to it. No doubt Cheers.
There are a lot that I have liked watching, another good one was on showtime in the eighties "The Paper Chase" about law school.

I'm the same way Bonnie....I never missed The Donna Reed Show (she reminded me a great deal of my own mom :) , That Girl; or Petticoat Junction (which I loved equally as well as The Beverly Hillbillies :)

Interesting....with the exception of wrestling and sponge bob, all the above mentioned favorites are from the past....cancelled by the networks! My favorites are no longer running either

My all time favorite is M*A*S*H, I watch it daily now. A list of my others are:
China Beach (thanks for the reminder Bill)
Hogan's Heros
BaaBaa Black Sheep
Major Dad

And one more about Vietnam that I cannot seem to remember right now. it was filmed on location in Hawaii. i watched them film it a time or two and actually played a fill in role in one of the episodes. I played a deceased soldier on the battlefield. Quite the star here huh?? lol
