A dead blue jay found in Irving has been tested positive for West Nile Virus, spraying is required in the northern areas of Irving, another bird found in Dallas has also been tested positive for WNV.

I'll keep you posted.

Just stay away from any dead bird you see and call the Animal Control office. Invest in alot of OFF! spray.

So far 3 birds found in Houston Metro area. All north in the Conroe area so far. Last year it all started a block from my house!!!! :roll: :o Hopefully no repeat there, cause the skeeters like me!

More mosquitos in Dallas, Denton, & Tarrant Counties are also tested positive for WNV, there is a possible human case in Dallas.
