She was used by them in my opinion pretty much to release Al'Queda members, but I'm happy shes free

here is the story i found. i am uneasy that hse is wearing arab dress, and i cant find anywhere her even mentioing the butchering of her translator. i am also troubled that we will now be treated to stories about how wonderful her captors were. im glad shes not dead, and ill just leave it at that

And, we do not know if she would have lived if she had not been rescued. They may had other plans for her. She was very lucky. I am sure she dressed that way. She liked the Iraqi people and probably dressed that way to show respect for their women. She may have been giving them praise of her treatment so they will be kind to the others who are still being held. No use making them mad.

I haven't read anything about her captors being wonderful, only that she was treated well and not tortured. Doesn't make them any kind of wonderful in my book. They're still al-Qaeda.

Sure she cares. She is still probably in shock and probably spent three months thinking of him and wondering if her fate would be the same.
Remember she only answered questions that were asked of her. She did not volunteer anything. I am sure she will be briefed and have to stay mum on some stuff.

I am sure when she spoke with her employer early this morning, they talked privately about him. I am sure it is uncomfortable for her to talk about him now, in respect for his family. She will probably talk about it later.

it doesnt to seem to be uncomfortable for her to talk about anything else. her treatment was dandy, the butchered guys wasnt. a pattern seems to be emerging here. they "kidnap" people sympathetic to them, and then the people they release say how wonderful they were treated. sort of like those christians who failed to thank the military for their rescue

Why are you down on her. I am sure she was briefed before coming before the cameras. She may have been told not to talk about her friend who was killed and also, I am sure she is trying to not upset the people who did hold her because she wants the others who are still in captivity to be freed too. We do not know what she was told to say or not. Maybe her briefers feel this approach is better for all concerned. Making those terrorists mad will only make matters worse on others.

i also read she GAINED 10 pounds while in "captivity". if you read her latest comments, her praise for her captors is overflowing. no wonder, the food must have been great

i think she is disgusting. granted, you can say she was forced to say this, but considering she made reports to NPR before "kidnapping" i feel she was very sympathetic to terror. by the way, she isnt in captivity any longer. who wants to bet she wont mention the women and children slaughtered by her beloved terrorists n iraq and around the world?

i feel this is a propaganda ploy by both the terrorists and her. and we can see there was plenty of good eating in her "captivity"
